With the antiFauci in a position of authority, we head even further down the path to total MAGAland. And don't forget his solution for Mike the Tiger's shyness in a crowded stadium is to get another tiger, name him Mikey and keep both as LSU's mascot.

It's hard to imagine that any 'cat' big or small would like to be dragged from familiar surroundings to a noisy open stadium 6 times a year.

But for me, the important point is this: The Governor and his top staff view animals like they do ordinary citizens in Louisiana.... interchangeable bit players in The Jeff Landry Show.

“It was known early on that disease posed nearly zero risk to healthy children and that the real risk of harm was associated with the vaccines,” he said. This is BS. Very little was known "early on" and once vaccines were widely available, the death rate dropped precipitously because they work (not because of hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin or any other quack remedy.) It's hard to feel reassured with "Dr." Abraham in charge of Louisiana health.

As indicated by Bob’s post, there is some documentation of “Doc’s” history as an opioid prescriber and prescription filler via his homegrown rural pharmacy (otherwise known as a pill mill) pre pandemic. But, covid opened new doors for him as a medicine man for the gullible. I don’t subscribe to the Advocate/TP anymore, but another article today about the so called chief health officer of the state is one of very few compared to the endless tomes about the black female mayor of New Orleans and her preferences for travel.

So sad that our state has such a nut case as its chief medical voice. Abraham does not deserve the title of doctor. He is a fraud.

Even sadder is that we have a governor who will do or say anything to enrich himself and his wealthy cronies to feed his power-hungry ego. At least he seems willing to treat the tigers better than the women in Louisiana.

I wonder what these off-the-deep-end shenanigans-as-politics. along with our goofus racist representatives in DC actually do to stimulate business investment in our fair state, the assumed holy grail of every state leader???
