Hi Bob, I don't only think Senator Cassidy is highly deficient politically; he is highly deficient morally. Unfortunately, highly educated does not always automatically translate to highly ethical or high integrity!

Yes. Of course. But why? My question has been "What is Trump or his minions giving our retired doctor and defeated Senator that makes it worthwhile personally?

A relatively forgotten note on the person he sought for advice: Bill Barr. Barr was the AG of Bush's Administration who removed the special prosecutor, Lawrence Walsh, who was investigating the Iran-Contra scandal. It had become well known that he was about to charge Casper Weinburger (sp) which was widely viewed as what would have been the final step before accusing President Reagan of personal involvement and responsobility. This would have revealed his personal guilt in this and other suspected illegal activity (like his deal with Iran to wait to pardon the prisoners until his opponent was defeated and make him look heroic) We recall that his administration had more presidentially officials go to jail for corruption than any other in history. (all part of the path constructed to Trumpism)
