I don't know whether the tiger was injured or sickened by his trip to Louisiana. What gets me is, Doesn't Jeff Landry have anything better to do than these stupid publicity stunts? Doesn't he have a state to actually govern?

It made my heart fill with pride to see the reaction of LSU students and fans if Mike the Tiger, who in my mind represents human compassion and decency.

Landry pushed so hard on this one he lost respect of whomever might have had any, along with LSU leadership.

I might be imagining things, Bob. It seems to me that LSU Athletics has more courage taking their stands than the LSU Board and faculty leaders had in defending you; and your cause to follow the real science in controlling a pandemic!!!

Great column as always Bob. But, Landry, his pill mill “surgeon general” and Tate can’t be embarrassed. Long after the Florida Tiger fiasco, and as part of a very sour night, the fans bombarded the field with bottles. Remember two years ago, when Tate, accompanied by a media flak “stormed the field” after the Alabama victory? What an inspiring leader…
